Thanks for the tip, buddy.smitty wrote:Jeff-
Mondridge and Peabody are both easy drives from Wichita.
I'm still throwing that pink Smitty#19983 KDGA Oz Tour CE Classic Roc on a frozen rope, man I love that disc.
Oh yeah, congrats on winning the PDGA State Coordinator election.

Re: Kansas Courses
I haven't been in Wichita in several years but am going to be in town again in a few weeks. It sounds like there is a new course in Haysville which is only 5 minutes from my company's plant...very cool. Another new course in Clearwater, I see. Anything else new in the region? I have played Herman Hi...

Re: NCAA Tourny
History will be made this week when a #1 seed will fall to a #16 seed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time EVER!
My alma mater, Lehigh, will prevail over the #1 overall seed this year, Kansas.
GO MOUNTAIN HAWKS!!! Boo Jayhawks!
You heard it here first.

Thanks for the recommendations. I did play Camp Hawk last year with Josh and loved it. I will probably hit Centennial or Pomona Lake - Wolf Creek.

Re: Where to play in T-town?
So it looks like I am headed out to Wichita, Kansas again for a business trip. In the past I have flown directly into Wichita but lately I have been flying into Kansas City and driving down. It's a cheaper flight with no layovers, and most importantly, it allows me to play new disc golf courses!!! 8...

Re: Doo Dah 2009
Got the scores up, FINALLY, http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=8991&year=2009&include_ratings=0#Open Looks like par is set at 54 for both courses. Hole#6 at Herman Hill along the river and the hole around the water center are easily pro par four holes. Depending on tees used and...

Re: Moving up?
I know Smitty's view on the subject; I should move up because I win my division a lot. I would love to believe that my game is at a Pro level, but it's not; my PDGA rating reflects this along with the fact that I usually only win by a couple strokes. I want to move up for 2 reasons: I play better w...

Walked through the course that day. Snow drifts were up to my chest in most places.
Wow. The only time I have ever seen chest deep snow was skiing in Utah.

Re: 2002 CE CLassic Roc
Thanks for the discs Smitty! The pink one flew *really* nice at Mulvane and Derby on Thurday evening - held a beautiful slow turnover without being overly flippy. Thrown with a little more hzyer angle, it flew very straight.

Re: Derby Course
So none of the other planned holes 12-18 will be pro par four or pro par five holes?
