CO States - Oct. 13-14
Hey, I just wanted to extend an invitation to all of you out there to come to the Colorado State Championships. This is always a great tourney, and played at two of the best courses in CO. This year looks likes it's going to be the biggest yet! Avery and Feldberg have already signed up, and of cours...

Tulsa
I grew up in Tulsa, but many of the courses weren't there when I was playing. The two "Hawk" course are by far the best, followed by Hunter, and Haikey, IMO. Riverside is actually 18 holes, and is a pretty fun birdie fest of a course. Like somebody said before, you really can't go wrong in...

In my bag
I used to carry a lot of discs in my bag but stopped doing that for two reasons. First, it just gets too heavy with everything else in there. Second, I noticed I wasn't using some discs or just using them once a round for a shot that could be done with a much more reliable disc that I would use more...

T-Rude, I'm glad you posted this, and I'm glad I checked the forum because I haven't in a long time. I have been practicing a lot this winter (being laid off about a month ago has really helped with that, lol) and I have noticed a lot of good things already. I'm pretty much the same as Pat. I can th...

Mountains
The mountain courses are the best in the state, and some of the best that i have ever played. Frisco is a very tough course, but not too much elevation change. Copper is a really fun course, if you don't mind climbing up and down black diamond runs a few times. I haven't gotten to play Aspen yet, or...

CO Tourneys
I just wanted to extend an invitation to everybody to come play in one of the few tournaments we have left here in CO. I had a great time in Emporia, and would love to return the favor to all of you out there. We have states coming up in a few weeks, at two of the best non-mountain courses around. A...

I've always called it the pancake grip, but i'm sure it's the same thing as the fan grip. Maybe i'm the only person that calls it that. :? I also wanted to agree that playing catch with a putter is a great way to help this part of your game out. you don't need to stand 200 feet away from each other,...

Rookie
That was the hardest part of the game to figure out for me too. Now, for anything under 250 feet I use nothing but a putter, unless i have to get fancy with the shot. Also, I change my grip from the power grip I use for drives, to the pancake grip. This has helped me a ton with accuracy, and I'm now...

i'll say that ruder is the best i have seen at straight tunnel shots. i have no idea how he keeps that flash that straight. my worst is the two finger or the roller, probably because my two finger is a three finger.
