I really like the Flight Chart on http://www.gottagogottathrow.com It gives the flight when thrown with a certain amount of power... While IMO, that one is flawed also,(some disc ratings) it does explain better than any I've seen. But, it doesn't show you the flight at a certain amount of power, it...

The XL will probably go a lot further for a 300ft thrower than the Flick, and not just because of the stability. Put any higher speed disc in a power requirement bracket. You got to have x amount of power to push it. The faster it is ,the more stable it becomes at slow speeds COMPARED TO IT`S DESIG...

Yup, a computer program would be the logical answer. But still very expensive.

But how would you make up for different speeds? Say you do make a "disc slinger" it would have to adjust perfectly for every different disc out there, and when something different comes along, you'd have to make adjustments and new parts. And you would have to make a building that the clim...

Guidelines. I think it would take entirely to much time and money to make something that would take closer measurements. And also the flight ratings would come up much too complicated. You'd have to have different ratings at different speeds, spin, as well as different ratings for drivers, mids, and...

just for future reference,What color were the flippy ones? They weren't flippy at all, just straighter, longer, than my "pigs". I pretty much just wanted to know what was up with the stamp, I just babble a lot. But they were yellow, soft, and domey. Like I said, it's been a while s...

Well,it is a stamp malfunction.Any change in stability is just luck!Or in your mind  Are you prone to suggestion  Go for the color you like .Sometimes the pigment makes the plastic shrink more on cooling, causing some wicked effects. I figured as much, because of how soft they were. Bu...

Thanks.

Just wondering if it's a stamp mishap and I got a couple funky Avengers, or if these fly less overstable for some reason, and are marked so.

Actually, I added up the footage from the signs (boards laid on ground) when I played it a month ago and came up with about 5000'. I just guesstimated. http://smiliesftw.com/x/420no.gif Figured the 300'+'s and the 510' would even out a little more. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u90/imana...

1.7?

I've got a couple new tourney stamped ESP Avengers marked 1.7< What's the deal with these? The two that I have really are less overstable than my 1.8s, they fly kinda like new X's, just a lil' more stable. I know the run of limited edition ESP Avengers were 1.7, because I try and find them, they're ...

Nice. Any idea on course lengths? Also, do you play on or across the road as OB? I'd say somewhere around 6300' for the 18 and we play roads as ob, theres quite a bit of it, and several drop offs behind/beside baskets. #8 is the bomb, and is a bomb, has a road all the way through and past th...
