I copied a post I made to the PDGA forum. Some of it might not make since without having read the thread. These are just my opinions. I'm sure they seem a little overkill. I don't think the new ruling will have that much of an impact, to be honest. That doesn't change the principle of the matter. In...

Wow. That's a potential 35+ tourneys! You've got your work cut out for ya, Smitty. There are a few that I haven't even heard of and several I haven't played.

Anybody played Junction City, Tecumseh, Pittsburg, Hoisington, Ark. City, JC Sandsprings, or Haviland?

Yeah, I'd like to get some tourneys in KC too. I think the KCFDC may charge other clubs a $50 fee to have tourneys in KC. If we can't work something out there, I know we could have a great tourney at Ted's Dread. This is a course everyone should see. I know they have a yearly tournament in April. Is...

I checked with the PDGA forum on this subject. They have a really long thread under the "Rules and Etiquette" section. I was more interested in hearing what Kansas golfer think about it before they consider how the rest of the world sees it, but I did think that you all may find a few of the views e...

2 meter rule

As you guys have probably already heard, the 2 meter rule has been tossed. Well not exactly... starting in 2005 it will not be enforced unless a tournament director chooses to do so. The TD will have the option to enforce the rule however they wish to do so (certain trees, certain holes, etc.), but ...

I went to go play the Manhattan KSU Campus course. I considered myself lucky to find 1 hole (at least I think it was a hole) out of the supposed 27 holes on this course. I will say that the course is in immaculate condition! Anyone know the course or know how to hook up with a local guide?

Just bought one from Dennis Vasholtz in Herington. Stopped by on the way back from Manhattan. I also got a 150 Z Flick and plenty of other goodies. I haven't thrown yet. The buzzz was available up to 177(+). You wouldn't believe Disc Unlimited's supply. I think it might rival Disc Golf World's!

Cessna

I still play out at Cessna occasionally. Only 3 tonepoles left, but you can mix it up with different tees. The park would actually make a really good temporary tournament layout. Has it all... hills, big trees, forested perimeter and creek, through the woods shots.... good place for a permanent cour...
