I just wanted to thank our TD for an awesome tournament, and have to agree with Mike that this was gold standard prep work. The sometimes confusing wooded area was easy to navigate with the cool maps and tourney signs. Aside from enduring my double disaster on 17 (16 in the afternoon), I had a great...

Had something come up here at home, so I won't be making it up to GB this morning. Good luck to all the participants.

Re: camping?

Ryan will have to confirm, but I do believe that 54 is still closed between Pratt and 183, just west of Greensburg. The state 511 map says so anyway. Just in case you're coming from out west and aren't aware. http://511.ksdot.org/kanroadpublic/Ksys/KRDefault.asp hotels? If you don't mind getting up ...

Mike, I just joined about two weeks ago, and I'm listed on the bottom of the points standings page. (haven't got my T-shirt or member tag below my screen name yet, but thats for another thread). :D If it makes any difference, I played at Monkey Island prior to joining. Granted, that would be more of...

Just snail mailed my entry in today.

Ryan, on the tornado relief thing, will the food bank be accepting cash donations along with food? Not that I mind bringing some cans. I gotta pick up some canned food for the postal carrier drive this Saturday anyways.

I haven't been down to Carey since all the rain started, but I'm scared to look. Well, I did this afternoon. Course was mushy as expected, but nothing that I haven't seen before, that was until I got to hole 12 and my Avenger sailed far left over the flood levee. On a normal day that would be no bi...

I haven't been down to Carey since all the rain started, but I'm scared to look. Granted we do have a decent levee.

My dad called from Nebraska just an hour ago and told me that Chautauqua Park in Beatrice was mostly under water.

I hope the course can dry out by tournament time. I was in GB a week ago today and the front nine was practically a marsh, and mind you that was before this past weekends wild weather.

I'm gonna try and hit this one regardless.

All of the OKC courses are on the west side of town close to I-44. Dolese is usually the favored course amongst the locals. Will Rogers is a fun little course too if you haven't got a lot of time. Many of the holes are practically pitch and putt. There's a convienence store across the street that se...

I always thought a two day multiple format team tournament would be a cool idea. Teams of six. Two open players, two masters, and two skill restricted players. Four rounds, each with a different format. 1. Singles 2. Doubles (best disc) 3. Two (three?) 9 hole match play matches (random draw determin...

Are the Mach V's in the ground yet?

Hey guys, I was planning to make a trip down there to preview the course at MD for next month's tourney and was wondering if all the old tire baskets have been replaced. I was then going to head to GB afterwards and check out their course. I had planned this for tomorrow, but it doesn't look like th...

The falling putt rule hands down. I wonder if some of the less experienced players realize that rule even exists.

1. Only required cost is often just the cost of discs. 2. I get 1.5 to 2 miles of walking, not to mention exercise for my throwing arm. 3. Fun to play whether by yourself or with friends. 4. The incredible satisfaction of bombing a long drive, parking your upshot or nailing a difficult putt. 5. When...

Just signed up via PayPal.

Nate, this is my first PDGA event. Do I need to add my name to the registration list there, or are you doing that?
