X OUT's & FACTORY SECONDS - What exactly are they?

Okay, I've been wondering what exactly are disc golf X-OUT's and FACTORY SECONDS? The factory miss-prints seem pretty self explanatory. The disc is fine, the stamp is not. http://store.clearwaterdiscgolf.com/images/8298_100.jpg But the FACTORY SECONDS are clearly not stamp issues, because they've ac...

Re: disc golf bags

Since money does not grow on trees, I bought a black Innova Deluxe Bag (they are bigger than they look in photos). I haven't used it very much compared to some of the other people that have posted, but I sure like it and it seems sturdy. It has the right hoops that will allow you to hook up a "...

Indoor Facility plus a New Course

Sorry if I confused anyone. The two topics I mentioned above are unrelated, accept for the fact that they are both disc golfing topics. 1. I would like to find a place to play one WEEK NIGHT a week because of the lack of daylight, not necessarily due to winter weather. When you work a typical 8am to...

Disc Golf in Manhattan

Sorry if I was too vague for you to chime with your feedback. The two things I'm working on are the following. 1. A potential indoor place to meet once a week this winter to work on your disc golf putting while playing a couple fun games that only require one basket. 2. I'm working on a proposal for...

Calling All Manhattan Disc Golfers

Hello All Manhattan Area Disc Golfers! I am working on some things that will benefit everyone who plays disc golf in Manhattan. I would like to know how many people play here on a regular basis. 1. I know there's a lot of K-State students that play, but how many? 2. There are a lot of "permanen...

Ft. Riley Course

Regarding the Ft. Riley Course . . . a co-worker of mine found out about it but I don't remember from whom. Basically they've put out 18 baskets and that's it so far. There might be a map online somewhere but I don't know for sure. The guy that told me about it gave me a map so that's what I use whe...

Don't get me wrong, it's still very playable (except for a couple days after a large rain storm PLUS a little shed is being built in the middle of the fairway for hole #13).

River Pond Course (Manhattan) - Maintenance & Volunte

Some friends of mine and I have started playing disc golf this spring. Now that we've played for a few months we're hooked. We all live in or very near Manhattan so we've played the courses that are considered to be in Manhattan. Plus we play the new course on base at Ft. Riley, Junction City's Sout...

Look Out Lake Shawnee . . .

because here I come and I'm bringing back up! Okay, enough of the silly talk. This will be my fist tournament so I'm pretty excited about making the trek to T-Town, The Capital City, etc. Do you guys have any guess of how many people will be participating Sunday? No matter what my crew is going to h...

Rookies entering the Manhattan Open?

These may be stupid questions . . . but here goes. 1. Myself and a couple friends just started playing Disc Golf LAST WEEK and we are really enjoying it. We've played the short course at K-State a couple times and have really, really enjoyed the sport thus far. Do you think we should enter the Manha...
