I think you all have good ideas and wish these ideas where brought up when i asked for them.

One of the reasons we always kept stockton and lindsborg on the schedule was because they where apart of the original KDGA tour back when there was only like 10-12 tournaments. Also they are some of the most unique courses. I would hate to see these courses disappear. The skins format was implemented primarly because of the low attendance and i was not there this year but the two years i did it, attendance was a lot higher. I remember one year we had 7 people in stockton and then the next year we had 25-30 with the skins format. I say find a way to get people to attend the tournaments.

I definelty think TDs should be members.

A longer season would be cool, but i would still try not to conflict with other events too much such as local non KDGA events and PDGA. I think it affects the image of the KDGA if you host a tournament the same weekend as a event a few hours away. I see it as the KDGA wanting to be seperated from other events and we want all people to be involved with the KDGA.

I love the formats you have included. I wish i could be there for some of them.

Just my input from across the big pond.

Hey Opie, how ya doing?

Yeah, I understand that the two day tournaments conflict with jobs and church more than one day tournaments. :? I am a "regular church goer" and know what you mean as far as that goes. Of course, any tournament between 1/31 and 4/15 (or even 4/30) runs into work problems for me.

As far as the church thing; if there was an interest shown, we could arrange a short (10 min. to 20 min.) nondenominational early morning (ie. 8 am) devotional/worship service. I did this quite often when I was a Boy Scout leader on two day or longer events.

Here is the schedule that we are going with. It is subject to some changes. So make sure you check with the TD before making a road trip.

Ponca has been an event for several years. They WANT to be on the schedule.

As for WW. Nobody from there has contacted me with any interest. Pete Cashen ran Rosedale in the past, but decided not to last year. If we had a person willing to TD the event, we could probably have one there.

As for PDGA events. All the normals.

Emporia, Hays, Wichita Doh Dah,

Possible PDGA
Ransom, Dodge City, Wichiat Oak Park, Beloit

Smitty, is Kc charging you to use Olathe or Wyco for the events?

Kevin and Ed are taking care of everything. If they are charging, they will probably just include this on the entry fee.

No I don't think that we felt guilty. Just thought that it may be a way for you to raise some money for the frontier.

We will see you on the 19th.
