2nd Annual Calvin Priest Memorial

The Parsons Recreation Center and the Parsons Disc Sports Club will be holding the 2nd Annual Calvin Priest Memorial tournament on Sunday, April 25th. The first round will be at the Idle Hour Lake Course outside Altamont, Kansas. We'll break for lunch and play the second round at the Parsons Arboretum Course. Some proceeds from this event will be donated to the Kansas Disc Sport Scholarship Fund in Calvin's honor. This is the day after the PITT Open which takes place just a mere 30 miles away from us. Why not make a weekend out of it? Hope to see some of you there.

Had a great time at this event. Both courses were new to me and both were difficult with the gusty wind! Next year this should be made bigger!

Had a great time, great people, 2 new beautiful courses for me. Played with a great group both rounds! Camping at Idle Hour Lake was excellent (awesome showers). Recommend more people make this tourney next year! Thanks to Paul and Gary again.

Thanks to everyone who made it out. I know it really meant a lot to Paul and his family. We certainly would like to see this event grow over the next few years. Here are the results from this event. The first score is the 18 played at Atlamont's Idle Hour Lake course. The second score is the 18 played at the Arboretum in Parsons. The third score is the 36 hole total. On a side note, Ron Convers score of 46 at Altamont's Idle Hour Course is a new record. Congratulations to him.
