The food is smelling great for lunch and I will be picking up the donuts first thing in the morning!

Was a good turnout as far NW as we are. I think Brady probably drove the furthest (way to go Brady) and then the McCook guys (trulinecustoms.com). Conditions were nice in the am, with little wind and mostly frozen ground. Wind picked up for the afternoon with the snow and ice turning to MUD! Still conditions were not bad. I think most people had fun! Where else can you find a mountain of snow in front of a basket! Thanks to everyone for coming out. I will have a total amount given to the food bank soon, I hope!

Thanks to Kent Lockhart for donating food for the lunch, moving in new baskets, shoveling the t-boxes, getting donations from several businesses, helping with score cards at registration and after each round, taking care of lunch (very tasty), and for being a heck of a nice guy! (I’m sure you did more Kent, thanks for everything)! Thanks to Chad Gasper for shoveling the stairs on 13! Thanks to Kent’s dad Gary Lockhart for cooking lunch. Gary owns Norton Furniture.

Open
Don Mordecai- 53, 52- 105 ($25.00 donated to food bank)
Chad Gasper- 57, 53- 110 (both CTP’s)
Brady Younger- 53, 59- 112

Advanced
Bruce Hinson- 58, 55- 113 (both am CTP’s) (2 Discs)
Mark Chitwood-58, 60- 118 (1 Disc)
Michael Hinson- 64, 58- 122
Kent Lockhart- 66, 67- 133

Intermediate
James Fawcett- 56, 56-112 (3 Discs)
Kevin Buffington-61, 59- 120 (2 Discs)
Christian Evans-61, 62- 123 (2 Discs)
Trevor Lewis-61, 62- 123 (1 Disc)
Jason Majors-60, 64- 124
Dale Henry-66, 61- 127
Jim Evans-66, 65- 131
Bubba Lewis-74, 68- 143
Aaron Roberts-75, 70- 145
Brian Hinson-83, 80- 163

Junior
Carson Buffington-92, 91- 183 (1 Disc)

One cool thing that happened was, since Bruce had donated stuff for 2 CTP’s and then won them back, he gave all the stuff to Carson! Then, when Bruce won 2 more discs, he gave those to Carson! Later Carson was holding an armload of goodies. He said “now all I need is a bag”. I said “I’ve got one for you”! I went over to the prize box and pulled out a brand new Lightning Bag! He was very happy! Thanks Bruce, that was awesome!

Don i was very happy to give all my prizes to Carson, just seeing kids his age out there at events is awesome and for you to give him a bag just makes it that much better

Anything that i can do to keep that going is well worth it. It was a great feeling seeing his eyes lite up. He should be set for awhile.

See you sometime soon, and thanks for hosting another fun event in Norton. I'll be back

Thanks to Kent and everyone else that helped. Great work.

I added individual round scores to the results page. Also, we raised $527.00 and several bags of canned goods for the food bank!
