Region 5 Tournaments

Pratt and Wellington are scheduled on the double points super tour this year. Not sure if anyone is going to run them? If not, the double points events could possibly go to a different region 5 city like Newton (already had tourney), Dodge City, where else? Or we could just drop them. But there have always been 15 events on the super tour and it's looking like 13 this year.

Maybe Pittsburg, hmmm...hmmm, I'm just sayin'. We hope to make this years PITT Open the biggest and best this year to hopefully expand for next year. We will have our NEW Monkey Traps in for the tournament and could possibly expand to 20 holes (100 players) if need be. I hope with everything planned that everyone will consider coming to our corner of the state this year. Hope to see a lot of you here and pre-registration is now open. I believe Pittsburg is in region 2. The way the super tour is set is the 3 tournaments with the largest attendance from each of the 5 regions, get the first opportunity for having a supertour event the following year. Biggest 3 last year in region 5 were Pratt, Wellington, & Hutch. I think region 5 has both the fewest players and fewest courses.
