So a bad shot is OB, and a horrible shot is safe? Don't know if that is a good idea.

Have fun playing Hays. See you in Norton! Hey, why don't you grab some players while you are in Hays and bring them along too!

I don't know if I mentioned a time for dubs tomorrow, but lets say 6:00 PM, hole #1.

Thought the Swede and I were going to make the trip. Looks like our plans have fallen apart. I will be busy cleaning and organizing, and getting ready to start my new job on Monday. Don't know if it would be smart to show up the first day with a DG Hangover.

Good Luck all and enjoy a little jewel in Northwest Kansas.

Sorry you guys aren't going to make it! Would have been great! Hope first day goes well. We might just have to throw two drives on the first hole each round in your honor, or something like that.

CTP’s (Round 1, Round 2)

Masters- Buddy Kassner, Chad Gasper, Ben Bolt
Advanced- James Fawcett, Chris Davis
Intermediate- Colton Mills, Trevor lewis
Women’s- Joan Bolt, Amanda Venn
Am Masters- Larry Billips, Larry Billips
Vibram CTP- Chad Gasper (2 Vibram discs, Vibram Polo, Vibram Hat)
Ace Fund CTP Winner- Rodney Dyck- $55.00 (Used a Vibram Ibex)!

All players got a Vibram Mid or Putter as a players pack. Payout was mostly Discraft, but several Vibram discs were also given.

CTP’s were a disc, hat or shirt (Kent donated 2 nice disc golf shirts) with something else (coffee mug, nail clipper set, etc.). One person got a $90.00 powered toothbrush for kids. Some got 2 discs. Women went first and got their pick, then just went down the line. Last guy (Larry) got what was left, but I thought that was fair since he won both in his division!

I only made 6 trophy’s, but we had 7 Divisions this year! I told Devon I would make him one ASAP! I think this was his first tourney. He did a great job! It was great to see family’s participating in this tourney; Gasper’s and Bolt’s! Also, great to see all the out of towners! Thanks for driving all that way! Hope it was worth it.

Finally, thanks to Kent!!! Kent has been working hard getting the course ready by getting rid of dead branches, trimming over grown fairways, and other course related upkeep! Today, he checked cards, got the water coolers from McDonald’s and tons of other stuff! Thanks Kent for that, and all the other stuff you did! By the way, he is trying to get new baskets for Norton, not that we need them or anything! Great job man!

That’s about it, now go to Hutch and Little River!!! (8/25-8/26)
