Glass Blown Open 2011
Re: Glass Blown Open 2011
Rusco, I think you may have mixed up the ladies in their divisions. Pretty sure Kylie & Sara K want to play intermediate, not advanced.

Got the changes made!
An email update was sent out earlier in the week but it appears that a few players didn't get it. Make sure to check this out and send to your friends.

Re: Glass Blown Open 2011
Lost my wallet leaving the Country Club in my pickup Sunday after awards around 4 pm, I left it on my cooler in the bed of my truck and it fell out. It had 35-40 bucks in it, keep the money and send me a note if found.
Thanks

Dennis played solid this weekend! Some crazy up and down scores, for sure. 3 rounds kept it a very close contest up at the top. What tough competition in the open division.

Re: Glass Blown Open 2011
Since everyone played different courses, different weather, etc, is it okay to everyone to use the unofficial round ratings for the purpose of awarding KDGA points?
Robin's idea and I think it is the most simple solution.

Great time again Team DD. I just wanted to thank you guys for putting on a killer event and making a positive statement for Kansas disc golf to send across the country. I hope the relationship with the ECC becomes a permanent one.
).
My concern would be what if the order flips after the ratings go through getting made official, would it be too much of a pain to adjust things. I don't think its going to affect things very badly if it does, but there's a theoretical chance someone could get unfairly bumped into/out of the top third of their division.

Granted, there were a lot of other events going on, but did anyone notice we got 358 players in attendance, and there wasn't a single peep about it on the PDGA homepage? Hmm. I guess CDSB is going to have to send them some footage.
Sounds fine to me Mike, (as I can tell after my performance that I'm not getting very many points, and don't deserve thoseSchoen-hopper wrote:Since everyone played different courses, different weather, etc, is it okay to everyone to use the unofficial round ratings for the purpose of awarding KDGA points?

We could wait until the round ratings become official, but I don't know about re-doing them.

Re: Glass Blown Open 2011
Class event as always. Played with (and beat for most of the weekend) the best players in the world. I gave away a Top 10 on the back 9.... Shot a really nice 28 on the front at the country club and tossed in three 5's and a 6 on the back to shoot 35. Finished with a ho-hum 63 in the final round after having it going and really making my push... Oh well, live and learn. I did cash but, still walked away disappointed with the end result of a good weekend of play....Cant wait for GBO 2012, the National Tour version!!!!

Will it get so big it will need separate weekends for pro and am?
Re: Glass Blown Open 2011
Thanks for coming and caddying for me Swede. That was the highlight of my round right there. I was in the middle of a meltdown and you probably kept me from boiling over after that 4 on 15. Not to mention hole 18.b dale wrote:Congrats T-RUDE! Check those round ratings. solid.

Anyone know when the next ratings update will be? Looks like the last was on March 29. I'm guessing end of May at soonest.

The GBO will be included, right? That isn't too bad, only about 3 weeks away. We'll figure up the points based on the official ratings.

No. Smitty and I are very adamant about this. We think part of the attraction for the Ams to attend is that they get to hang around World Class Pros for the weekend.cfluty wrote:Will it get so big it will need separate weekends for pro and am?
