What a nice course! This was first visit to Thomas park and man.....nice! Of course, playing the last round with Nate Martin and Downtown Randy Brown didn't suck either. Made it to the far end of the toll road in pretty good time and hit 65 mi/hr.crosswinds blowing dime and quarter size hail. I hope the guys from Emporia got home all right , it looked really bad that direction!! Still, all I can say is WOW! The Salina club did tons of work and the course looked great. If you haven't played it yet you need to visit Thomas Park and enjoy the Beat down in person! Congrats Randy on a round well played.

Thanks to all that made it to Thomas and battled the course. I hope no one stayed home thinking it would rain in Salina on Sunday cuz once again Salina disc golf lucked out again. A big thanks to the Salina club and the City of Salina for all the work in the park.

Man were there a lot of throws made, not a single par or under round turned in. I thought that 5 under would win open.

Hole 5 was Aced by Tom Thomson. Nice Shot! Got $175 from the tournament and will get half of the KDGA rolling fund.
