Event Window:
Running form Jan 16 - Until we are out of discs. (We hope to be done before the start of the Oz tour)
Format: Any format is welcome. The idea is to have fun and raise tons of money for local food pantries.
Discs: The TD can purchase Food Drive discs from the KDGA for a very low price. In return the KDGA would like the TD to make at least a $10 donation to the local food pantry for every discs purchased.
KDGA Points: Any KDGA member playing a Food Drive event will receive 10 Bonus Points.

I'd like to put Hays' Ice bowl the first Saturday after the superbowl. It would be cool if Salina followed it up on Sunday and make good weekend of golf.

How many discs would you like to reserve for your food drive? Remember you can send back any that you don't use.

That would be fine.
You really can make a ton more money for your Charity at a lot less risk to your club by using just the KDGA discs.

Bren-
The only thing we are going to raffle off this year is a basket. We can sell tickets for $5 each. We will also work up a price on the discs, most likely around $15 with around $10 going to food bank.
The only people who will be able to get in the raffle are people who buy a disc or a ticket. If an event is Food Drive only, then all players at the event will be entered into the drawing.
Let me know how many discs you want for the event. We will get them to you. You can use what you can and get the rest back to us.

You mean events where everyone gets a disc for their entry AND at least $10 from each player goes to charity.

At a Food Drive event, every player will walk away with at least a food drive disc. Each disc used by a TD should also include a $10 donation to the charity.
Just because an event has Food Drive discs available will not qualify each player for a raffle ticket. If a person does buy a Food Drive disc at one of these events, they will be entered into the raffle.
