The Flying Bison Disc Golf Club and Dynamic Discs invite you to attend the 26th Annual Frontier Open September 11th and 12th at Frontier Park in Hays, Kansas. The tournament is a Professional Disc Golf Association B-tier and Kansas Disc Golf Association super tour event with an anticipated $2500 added cash divided amongst all divisions. The Frontier open features 72 holes of golf, alternate tee pads, alternate pin placements, closest to pin shots, an ace fund, a putting contest, and Saturday night players party for all players! This year participants will play three rounds of 24 holes; two rounds of 24 holes on Saturday and one round of 24 on Sunday. There are divisions for all players at all skill levels. Participants should check the KDGA discussion board the day before the tournament for updates/changes. The first 90 participants to register will be guaranteed a 26th Annual T-shirt, disc and booklet in the players’ package. If you are camping, skip this post.
I asked TRude/Rusco about hotels in Hays. TRude stated that last year he thought the Super 8 ran a $50 flat rate plus tax for tournament players. I called and reserved a room with Super 8 today and Connie (manager) said they will honor the $50 rate plus taxes again this year. I'm hearing there is alot going on in Hays that weekend, so book your room early if your staying. Be sure to mention you are playing in the Tourney. Also, this is cheaper than booking online and using your PDGA DISCount. Since they are giving such good rates, you cannot couple the $50 along with the PDGA DISCount.

Dan and I signed up on Friday night and aren't on the registration list yet. Any particular reason why or just too busy this weekend. :D

I would be willing to play doubles if anyone is looking for a partner. Not the best or the worst just want to have some fun.

Holy Cow!

Only 46 people signed-up and this thing is 2 weekends away. Do yourself a favor and go to www.dynamicdiscs.com today and register.

There are a limited number of spots and chances are someone who wants to play will not get to, don't be "that guy".

One of the oldest and most fun courses in Kansas.

Flying Bison teaming up with DD, is only going to make this event awesome.

I looked yesterday and didn't see Advanced Grandmaster on the list. Today I see it and went to register in that division but the price is set up wrong. It shows $63 but when I select it it shows a total of $83. Adv Masters totals correctly. As soon as this is fixed I'll register. I know of at least one other Adv GM that wants in that division. Hopefully we will get enough to open the division this year.

Looking forward to another fun Frontier Open in Hays! 8)
