Norton Food Drive, Sat. Feb. 5th

What: Norton Food Drive Event.

Where: Elmwood Park Disc Golf Course, Norton

When: Saturday, February 5th

Time: 9:45 players meeting
10:00 tee time.

Format: 2 rounds of singles disc golf!

Cost: $20
-Each participant will get a KDGA Food Drive Disc
-There will be a payout for each division, however it will be small, this is a FUND RAISER!!!
-There will be CTP's

-Each participant will be entered in a state wide drawing for a new Discraft Basket!
-Lunch provided by The Norton Disc Golf Club (but made by Kent, way to go Kent)!
-We will try to get the 4H building for lunch and registration if it is cold. But we might have to tough it out!!
-Please bring canned goods for those less fortunate. Lets fill the Norton Food Bank!

Ace Fund: $5.00
-If no Ace is hit, we will give all the money that is raised that day to the food bank.

**All money raised will go to the Norton Food Bank.

We are going to have registration in the basement of the city building which is located at 301 E. Washington Street. From hole one, it is 3 blocks North, and one block West, on the North side of the road. We will have coffee and I am told Donuts at registration, so come early. This is where you can grab some lunch also. We think its a good idea to get out of the cold and warm up a bit before heading back out!

Don beat me to it I was gonna say it in the city building. Good food, disc golf and a great chance to play norton once before this summer! If any one wants to come early like Friday from itc or emporia or wherever I can probably host a couple people, just thought I'd through that out there!

Heard from the McCook guys today. Bruce and company are planning on comming! Also talked to a local yesterday who is planning on being here. So lets see... Me, Chad, Kent, Local, Bruce and Company, that makes about 8 or 9! Better than 3! Keep um comming!

Good, then you will be able to play for sure! You can have 2 cups of coffee! By the way, The City of Norton Travel and Tourism Committee asked me to tell people that the City building was three blocks North. That way people would have to drive around looking for the building and that way see more of the town and maybe even have to ask for directions and perhaps, spend more money. Good going Jimbob!!

Discs are here and they are SWEET! Nobody gets to pick early so don't even ask. Except Kent, who has been doing a TON of work around the course, and lunch on Saturday. So just Kent, and nobody else! And I mean it! Well, Chad can probaly come over and pick one out. And of course James. And that means I will have to get mine. And then Buff can get one. But thats it!!! Nobody else!!! I mean it. Well...
