Hate to miss this one also! I love playing in Manhattan.

This is the weekend that Stacy and I will be moving. Sad to miss the event. Excited to start the next chapter of my life.

For anyone who may have concerns about the current condition of the Tuttle Creek River Pond disc golf course, you are going to want to read this post --> http://kansasdiscgolf.com/forum/viewtop ... =27&t=4232 Don't worry, it's good news.

I look forward to seeing all of you at the upcoming Little Apple Open!

Dynamic Discs will not be having Flex Doubles on Friday afternoon. We will be around in the evening with the new RV and gear. Get signed up if you have not already done so and we will see you Saturday morning.

Some Manhattan area folks are going to be at the lake Friday evening. Anyone that wants to play doubles, meet around 6:00 at the picnic table by basket 18. We can do BYOP or random flip, whatever the group decides.

Yo Kindy, I have two questions... they're pretty simple too.

1. Does your message that says "with the new RV and gear" mean someone will be set up to sell discs on Friday night?

2. Do know if anyone found that Champion Shark in the creek at Newton's Camp Hawk #1? It's that Mt. Dew disc I was telling you about at the GBO... just thought if you had it, Saturday would be a good time to bring it.

Way to step up Kewley! I'm 50/50 on playing, but it's nice to see the guys excited about playing doubles will still be able to do so.

Good point. Guys and Gals welcome!

I'll bring our DFOK club Scorepoint board & scorecards to help organize this thing (even if I don't play).

We'll be sure to do this Friday dubs up right!

Excellent! I have a couple things on my DG shopping list. :-)

You're a good man Kindy. (I wouldn't have mentioned that Champion shark, if Innova still made them. Dirty rats!)

First time at Manhattan. Will Dynamic Discs be selling some plastic? If so can you take credit cards?

We definitely accept credit cards. Registration is currently at 68 players. We are capping it at 90-95 so be sure to either pre-reg online by clicking http://www.dynamicdiscs.com/disc-golf-t ... -Open.html or show up early on Saturday! We hope to see you here!

I guess this was my 5th year involved in the Little Apple Open since reviving the tournament in 2008. It sure has come a long way since 2008, when we had 22 players.

Austin won that tournament, defeating Leo D. I Dug up the results from '08 here:

Austin S 103
Leo D 110

Open Women
Robin R 122

Masters
Harvey B 100
Darren B 107
Thad 108
Dave R 114
Tom Os 117
Tom T 118
Jackie M 121
John Nes DNF

Advanced
Phil Schmidt 109
Jason Adkins 109 (Lost playoff)
Josh Case 116
Josh Luinstra 118
MaceMan 121

Am Women
Susie Vaughn 155

Intermediate
Chris Hayes 115
Jake Trockelman 121
Mike Daniels 122
Chris Tyler 126
Patrick B 135

I'm sure the tournament would be the as great as it is today without the help of Dynamic Discs, or without the help of local Manhattan disc golfers. I know Thad, Rick, and Mark (and all of DFOK) have been working their butts of for all of Manhattan disc golf.
