I am also kind of kicking around the idea of heading to Pratt Friday afternoon and playing some golf then camping someplace close. Anyone interested in that?

Sure! Where can I plug in my amp?

Preferably in Wichita. :D

FYI, another masters player.
Marc Barnett that pre registered for am 2 would most likely want to play advanced masters if it is a possibility.
If and when Jeff Wheatcroft signs up he would be in the same boat and could play grand masters.

I might be interested in some friday golf. most likely would camp at home though.

Intermediate is the lowest Am division we are offering.
So if I can make it, I'll register as an Intermediate, receive a players pack and bonus disc since I'm an amateur. Can you give me an idea of what an Intermediate would throw at Oak or HH since I'm kinda of new and don't have a handicap yet?

If you were playing from half long / half short tees and the baskets were set half long, an 850 to 900 rated intermediate player might shoot about 12 or 13 over par 54 on average.

Smitty:

Please count me as pre-registered. I don't have a PayPal account and it won't let me simply pay with a credit card.

Advanced Grandmasters please.

Thanks,
Bob

Wow, this is a fantastic response. I haven't had much time to check the forum, but I was not expecting a 3 page thread.

A couple things I want to add:

1. There will be onsite lunch available for $5. Pulled pork sandwich, chips, cookie, and water bottle.

2. Free camping is available at Pratt Lake. There was a conflicting response from the city, so better to assume the answer is no to camping at the park.
I will post directions to the lake later tonight.

The course is coming along nicely and will be ready for doubles on Friday. The baskets are set up to play the pink course first.

Corbin 3 pages would be impressive if I wasn't responsible for 80% of the posts on the thread.

Thanks for hooking up lunch and clearing up the camping question.

It'll be nice to have someone keeping an eye out. Just remember it isn't "sanctioned" so no campfires, or loud music, etc... There will probably be people out Glo'ing most of the night anyway, as is a typical Friday night in Pratt.

A very big thanks to Smitty for making all of this possible.

I have to commend Corbin on all his hard work, as well.

Course is looking good and final preparation will be finished today.
