The course had been groomed, the weather man has called for mild wind and 57 degrees for the high, we are picking up the food drive discs tomorrow, this has the makings for one hella good time! Grab a buddy and head down to the "Valley" this Saturday! We we will have the main lunch provide, if you would like to bring a small side dish of some sort that would be appreciated. Nonperishable foods and personal hygiene products will also be accepted as donations.

If you plan on bringing a basket and you are not on the list, or your on the list and won't be able to make it please chime in here.

If you have never played this course it's totally worth the drive! The course is located in and around Island Park in Winfield. Main Street (Hwy 77) runs north and south through town, on the very north end of town the road veers to the west but you continue north into the park. Follow the road counter clockwise around the park and we will gather in the pavilion on the west side. If you take the interstate south, get off at the Wellington/Winfield exit (Hwy160) turn east, go 20 miles to Winfield Main Street (the first stop light) turn left and drive north all the way into the park. Hope to see you there!

Two rounds of windy conditions but decent temperatures.
We had 28 players today and enough food to feed 50.
I think everyone had a good time.
We gave out loads of prizes.
Lots of fun.
Huge thank you to all the sponsors and the people that made it happen.
Days like today is the reason I play disc golf and really enjoy the disc golf community.
Disc golfers are a great group of people.
Thanks again everyone.

More info to come from my secretary (Boebo) when we get all the numbers.

Great day
Great cause

Now that was awesome. I won more stuff at that charity event then at all Wichita tournys ever. I appreciate your guys work ethic. This the third year I've been in a row and the course is always different. Great food! Great people! Good times! Once again wvdga goes above and beyond!! Other clubs should take notes on these guys work ethic, communication, and cooperation!! Thanks Shann Man!! Must take a lot of personal time to trim and set that course up. I envy you small town clubs like Winfield, and Little River!! You guys really know how to run a event!!
