By the time I feel I am done as a TD, it is usually near dusk. I think we'll be better @ payout this year (everyone gets their disc in the morning) and the second round, theoretically, should be really quick (no Tough Shot plus 6 holes of Alt). So I'm optimistic that it will at least feel like a shorter day .

Maybe someone who actually wears a watch can give you a better answer.

Had a rockin work day @ the Hawk yesterday. Things are lookin grand. Course will get mowed this week. Can't mark 1740 tees until after that. Everyone plays the Alt tee for hole 1 which is in the Southwest corner of the parking lot. 1740 will have shorter tees on Hawk holes 11, 13, 22 and possibly 23.

Discs are in and lookin fine. Here's what's available...

Millennium Sirius Quasar 175g White-- Quasars are usually available only in Quantum plastic. These special run dudes are more overstable than their Quantum brethren. Reliably overstable. And freakishly fast. If you aren't familiar with Millennium plastic, think Star Boss.

Millennium Sirius Orion Long Straight 162-175g White-- Marshall Street rates the OLS's speed and stability in the range of the Fury/Hatchet/Sidewinder. It is faster and a little less stable than the super-straight JLS. Fresh out of the box, however, my 175g was more stable than any of the discs mentioned. I expect it to season nicely. OLS has a comfortable, fairway driver type rim, very flat profile, and offers control with surprising speed.

Millennium Astra 162-175g White-- The Astra is a stable distance driver in the region of a SurgeSS / Archon (faster Beast / Northman). For me a seasoned Astra makes a great roller or down-wind bomber. Millennium's standard plastic has an awesome feel and is the easiest to break in. Don't have a huge arm? Grab a lighter Astra and get you some D!

Dynamic Discs Classic OR Classic Blend Judge 173-4 -- Straight, stable, popular putter. Only disc with colored plastic and fun colored hotstamps.

Dynamic Discs Moonshine Trespass 170-174g -- Used to be my furthest flying disc ('til I met the Quasar). A little less stable than a Destroyer/Scorpius. Nuke-ish with a bit more "S" to the flight. Moonshine plastic tends to be a bit more stable than Lucid and Fuzion.

You da man, Swede! And, I know this might spoil the soup for those of you outta towners, but... the Hawk looks as good as ever. Some folks have spent a great deal of their time and resources there, and it shows. Thanks to Hyzernautland for their hard work!!! It's gonna be SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!
