2014-2015 KDGA Food Drive Schedule

Anyone wanting to run a KDGA Food Drive this year. Please let me know. We are extending the window this year to include December.

Why run a Food Drive? To raise as much money as possible for Kansas Food charities.

What is the risk? None! Unlike other events, there is little to no risk to the TD. The KDGA purchases all the discs for the food drive and TD's use what they need and return the rest. There is no markup on the discs. The TD/club is only charged the cost of the discs used. The rest are returned and used at the next possible event.

Format? This is completely up to the TD. Most places do a simple get together and play a round, often followed by a potluck lunch and a round of doubles.

Cost to play? Once again this is up to the TD. The most common charge is $20 w/ all participants receiving a food drive disc.

Who can TD a food drive? Any KDGA member. Last year we had stops in as far NW as Norton and South as Winfield.

I would assume Wichita is running one on Jan 25th if they follow the pattern for years past...
