Winfield Food Drive 02/07/15

Post by opie »

Hello All,

The annual food drive is rapidly approaching (Feb. 7) and it is time to get some info up here.

The location is at the Island Park and nature trails on the North end of Winfield (by the swimming pool, highway 77).
There will be food provided for lunch. If you want to bring a side dish, it will be welcomed.
The first round will be casual play, whatever format you want to play.
The second round is going to be random flip $5 doubles with a rotating format similar to 1880 doubles.
The entry will be either $25 or $20 and a case of canned food. If you bring extra food to donate you get a mulligan to be used during the second round.
If both team members bring "mulligan food", the team gets 3 mulligans.
One mulligan = one shot not one shot for both team members.
Mulligan shots are liberal, meaning you can use either shot unless you are playing tough shot then you have to take the second.
Mulligans could come in very useful.
Mulligans can be purchased for $3 for single or $5 for the team. Maximum of 3 mulligans for the team.

I hope to see everyone there for some great friends, food and an awesome once a year course .

Looking for donations.

Donors:
Jeff Ring
Greg "Boebo" Larmer
Walnut Valley Disc Golf
Shan Mann
Rubbermaid
Duck's flying discs
My people skills are just fine, it's my tolerance for idiots that need work.

Thank you to everyone that came to Winfield today.
We had good food, good friends and good fun. If you missed it, sorry you missed out.
It sure is lot of work setting up a 22 hole course but it is well worth it for the cause and camaraderie.
I'm not sure what the total numbers are on everything yet, Boebo will probably post that tomorrow. Every TD should have a Boebo, he is worth his weight in uhh well something.
That guy is Invaluable.
Thank you to everyone that helped, couldn't do it without you guys.
