I am trying to get another basket to raffle as well.

There must be 3 people to form a division.
Recreational and Juniors will get a disc when signing up.
KDGA fee and $3 ace fund is included in your entry. If there is no ace, there will be a throw off for the ace money. The cash and plastic divisions will throw off for their respective ace funds separately.

We will be playing the actual "Grove" course, not the shortened version some of you may have played at "The Frizz".

Directions:
From highway 77, go straight down main street (highway 77) to 14th street and turn west. The course is a block past the railroad tracks on the south side of the road.

From highway 160 coming from the west, the fairgrounds are about a mile from the edge of town (just past the Walnut River). Turn south at the fairgrounds and drive through them. The course is on the south side if the fairgrounds. If you cross the railroad tracks you just passed the fairgrounds.

From highway 160 coming from the east, drive through town (approximately 2 to 3 miles)you will go past 4 stop lights. As soon as your cross the railroad tracks the fairgrounds are on the south side of the road. Turn south at the fairgrounds and drive through them. The course is on the south side if the fairgrounds.

We are going to play the pecan grove tonight at sixish. We will be there a little early to do a little course maintenance.
Boebo has talked me into doing lunch which will be burgers, dogs, chips and probably have some watermelon.
Going to be a can't miss good time tourney.

If you didn't make it, you missed another good one. Weather was great, the free lunch was on point (and fed a lot of people again after the second round!), cold & sweet water melon after the second round, and 3 new baskets were won/given away!!!

Dang Boebo! Puttin in work! Guy was up at o'dark 30 grillin burgers for everybody (on his own dime), secretary-d the heck out of the tourney, put out a spread at lunch, busted the 2nd hottest afternoon round to come back and win, tallied scores and payout, cleans up and posts the scores first thing in the morning.

Makes you wonder, "damn, what did I get done yesterday?"

Of course Boebo wasn't alone. Shan and Co. were haulin balls, flags and buckets of water all over the course too. If you haven't made it down to the Valley for an event yet, do yourself a favor and go. Hard to find a more gracious set of hosts. Low entry fees with ace and lunch included should be over-the-top but then you find homes for 3 new baskets too? Oh, and golf carts are welcome on the course. Swank.

Thanks for all the kind words Swede, but I can't take all the credit for that lunch. Everybody in the valley (Shan Mann, Cliff Zollman, Arty Hicks, Matt Stutt, Twitch, and Larry Usery) pitched in out of their own pocket also, it's definitely a collective effort. Let's not forget those killer cookies that Swede brought!
In the last three years, since we brought this event back, I definitely think the guys in the valley have steadily made it bigger and better every year.
I would like to thank Shan Mann from all of us. This guy goes out of his way to make our tournaments run as smooth as they do. He is quick to place thanks on others and deserves most of it himself, your a class act dude!
