Starting in April 2011, you can count on Warner Wednesdays every week (5:30pm tee time).
Yes, it is the Bag Tag league that has been playing on the first & third Sundays of each month through the winter.
Now that there's plenty of daylight in the evenings, it's time to go back to PRIME TIME weeknight hours! See you there!

Never heard of a bag tag league? OR You've heard of them but are not sure how a bag tag league works?
Simply put, it is a group of disc golfers who compete against each other on a regular basis for tags that each player can proudly display (hang) on their disc golf bag.
What's so special about these tags? They are kind of like traveling trophies (similar to fantasy leagues), except when it comes to bag tag leagues every participant gets a traveling trophy (and only one) which is in the shape of a luggage tag.
The most important feature of these tags are they are sequentially numbered tags. For example: #1 thru #56, if it is a 56 person league. Tag #1 being the most sought after tag, then tag #2, then tag #3, & proceeding up into the higher tag numbers. Then the league members use the numbered tags to compete for and "win" away from each other. For example, if the holder of tag #32 plays against the holder of tag #11, and finishes with a better score, then the possession of tag #32 & tag #11 switches hands.
Why are bag tag leagues so popular?
1. As is with disc golf itself, it is a type of competition that is fun and different than what you've probably competed in before.
#2. Once you've paid for your bag tag (& you don't lose it), you're finished paying to play in the league for that season. No other $ is required. (at least not in this bag tag league).
#3. You meet a broader range of disc golf players/people because the league is not about playing for CA$H.
#4. The outings tend to have a more relaxed feel because the league is not about playing for CA$H.
