USDGC Time
USDGC Time
It is about that time again. We need to figure out what we want to do. I sure makes watching and smack talking more fun.
I like picking 4 or 5 players based on Ratings.
You must pick 4 People
1 Any Pick
2 <1015
3 <1010
4 <1005
5 <1000
I think all past Champs should be off limits. Climo, Barry, Nate, Dirtbag.
What up???
Ideas??
Total Strokes?
Score like Cross Country? Your guy gets 20th, you get 20 points.

Re: USDGC Time
It's kinda hard to pick when there's no pre-reg list. Or am I looking in the wrong place? By the way, who is representing KS?
Re: USDGC Time
USDGC.com to get the pre-reg
Leo is the State Rep
Hemmi
Babbit
Emac (still a Kansan in my mind)

Re: USDGC Time
The registered players list doesn't have ratings. It's going to take forever to cross-reference with the pdga site. I know Avery would be my top pick, given his past performances.

I am going with Cam Todd to shock the world!

What year did he win his world championship?
Re: USDGC Time
I guess I am out of the loop, is this like a fantasy thing or what? I wouldn't mind joining if it is. Another question who is Dirtbag? lol

Re: USDGC Time
Yes Fantasy USDGC. You pick five within the ratings breakdowns.
Dirtbag would be Feldberg.

I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Re: USDGC Time
If we are doing this I am going with:
Any: Avery Jenkins
<1015: Paul Ulibarri
<1010: Derek Billings
<1005: George Smith
<1000: Anders Kallstrom
I think the cross-country points system sounds good!

A great shot is when you try it, a good shot is when you don't have the guts to pull it off.
