The cold weather made me wonder if it was in. Let me know when an event is coming up.

Played the first canyon round of the year today.

Nature has made some changes to the course since last year.

Hole 8 is the first of the big changes. The spooky tree took a tumble and is laying on its side.

The creek on hole 10 that you have to cross to get to 11 is DEEP! We spent about 35 minutes throwing rocks in making a bridge.

Hole 16 the shot is a flick over the creek or shut your eyes and throw a hyzer. The over the creek shot has a ton of limbs that knock you down almost every throw.

Hole 19 you throw form the edge of the canyon to the other side, the basket is completely surrounded by little trees. The cedars that you use not even worry about have grown up and a starting to block the way.

Hole 20 I normally throw a thumber between the cedars and over the creek, the cedars have grown and are huge. It is more of an over the cedars shot.

The crazy thing is the holes all seemed crazy short and most fairways you could throw down? A few more rounds and several more broken limbs the canyon may be better then it has since I lived here.

Well I took my Burley style loppers and hit "The Canyon" today. I put in an hour of work and holes 2 and 3 are looking pretty sharp. I thought I'd share this info with you guys if you make it out there, so you'd know what had been worked on. I didn't mess around with hole 1 because I figured it was pretty good. Maybe need some attention when it plays from the other side though.

Holes Done: 1, 2, 3

Man Hours(of the good guys anyway): 1
