Re: Oak Pond
When I asked about letting the JROTC dredge the pond, they said, "no, we'll take care of it". Now they say they will get it done every year. That's good news!
They said not that many discs found. Which is very surprising. I was a little too late in telling them to hold on to them for me. There were a few scavengers hanging out waiting for them to shut down for the day each day. I know I had a disc in there I really wanted back. Nice having the pond cleaned though!

Re: Oak Pond
A city worker brought me about 20 discs that he had found while cleaning the pond. I called the people that had names and numbers on the discs (about five), none of which I recognized. The JROTC did pick up about 8 bags full of garbage on Sat. at Oak Park and held a little mini tourn.
