Only had five at Derby for Doubles on April 14. Maybe people felt they had been beat up by the wind enough on Saturday. It died down and was a pretty good golf night.

If the course isn't too wet, we will play from all LONG tee locations. If it is too muddy, we will stick to the concrete tees.

Open/Am teams randomly selected if equal number of registrants in each division. Otherwise random selection with 3 strokes subtracted for AM/AM teams and 2 strokes added for Open/Open teams.

Recreational teams are welcome to play without contributing to prize fund but will not be eligible for prizes; must play by club rules, bring your own partner.

Open players compete for cash prize, Amateur players compete for club credits that can be used for club merchandise or ACDGC event entry fees.

Entry: $5 for prize fund

ANOTHER OPTION for Monday APRIL 28th:
We got a call from Jay & Des Reading from Texas who will be stopping by on their way to the GBO in Emporia. They are going to run a FREE CLINIC at Stone Creek DGC in Derby from 4:45 to 5:45 and then offer Doubles with $10 buy in and prizes from their stash of discs and equipment.

That's cool...we had a free clinic in Winfield once from the world record distance holder at that time Scott Stokley. Any time you can learn from the some of the best, at anything in life, you had better jump on it!

South Rock Christian Church will have two crews working at Stone Creek Park On Sunday, Sept. 28th from about 9:30 to 12:00 in the morning. There will be a group of parents with young children picking up hedge apples and a group of adults and teenagers spreading mulch. With all the children there, it would be good if people not play the course while they are working. If anyone wants to come by with a rake, pitchfork or shovel and help move mulch that would be great. Marty will be working with the city to get the mulch placed around the course so there will be less bulk movement and more just spreading.
