I'm pretty sure the club could match $2,000. That'd be $4,000. That's probably 9 baskets. It's a start.

I just think we need a set course of action, before we move ahead.

I just requested an information kit from the pdga that is supposed to have helpful guidelines on putting in a new course. Hopefully they send me some good stuff.

Austin is correct more than just money is a issue, mowing, natural grass land and space. At this time I don't see any space that will hold 18 holes.

Too bad Oakdale & Kenwood have too much foot traffic. We could make a nice course in there.

What if we got 18 new baskets and tore up the current South side of Lakewood? Put in a fresh 18 holer using the bottoms. Only problem with that would be if pond rose again. In 93 the pond was up to # 4's trail for a few years.

Thomas Park is 15 acres. Is that enough for 18 holes?

I would rather tear up the North Side. We could connect both sides using some of the walking trails. We might even be able to go as far as making it 24 or 27 holes.

Thomas park would make a great 18 hole course. There would be a wide variation of shots. It might be the easiest to get as well.

According to this 15 acres would be a little on the small side.

Could we put a quality 9 in at Indian Rock and stay out of the prairie grass?

Yea, but it would be nice to have some elevation changes once in awhile.
