Started out with strong N. wind, A even round would be a good score to beat. Then the wind died down allowing ten million mosquitos to feast on us. If the course ,wind,and insects wasn,t enough, slow play invited dusk in,and made the finishing holes rushed and difficult. Chris fought his way through it and captured his first singles win. Good to see the am turnout . Good to see "The Swede". Good evening for golf, just a bit muggy. Austin proving his local standing ( 3 wins ) , and Jonesy proving he,s there to cash, being the only player so far to cash at every singles match.The old dog ( R/B) with 3 wins, hoping for Thomas to dry up soon. Man......Thomas is tough this time of year! Humidity , Mosquitos,Ivy,tall grass,weeds,and the walking dead between 13 & 14. I,m feeling we should play here every other week to keep from discouraging participants,and play Lakewood the off weeks to rejuvinate confidence and ability.
