Nice evening once again for golf. The South side currently set up just about as hard as it can be, and was a challenge for sure. Nobody escaped bogeys and I seen many circles on the cards. R/B patiently waited,and captures his first win.In the Pros, the race is still on,( where you at Rich ?) while on the Am side Rod Cooley is securing first place with a significant lead in points ,and looks to be hard to catch.( I,d like to see someone challenge him ) Nice to see Coach and Robert out for their first. Muggy night at the mosquito factory! Man they were everywhere, and we took home as many bumps on our bodies as strokes on our cards! Thomas has a way of humbling a golfer, and we,ve learned around here its not over till you get through every hole, and the cards on the table. I know this course makes a player better, and right now it,s as tough as it gets. R/B with his 2nd win is adjusting his rear view mirror and looking to set a pace, while Rod in the Ams has engaged the cruise button, and lit up a fat cigar.
On a side note, Power Hyzer Phil is our current arm wrestling champion defeating the shear strength of Austins arm for a playoff for third place.( any ties can be settled by any form on Thurs. Singles ). Pros make sure your scores are turned in correctly, due to the misshaps I had to give some players the same points because of the confusion.

I apologize if I caused uncomfortable rounds by randomly drawing hole assignments.I realize that this does not work for most of us pros, however I would like to give everyones input a fair shake. I,m going to experiment one more time, this time two pros and two ams on the same card, and then your feedback. I will bend alittle but not much more at this point. Well were half way through and the race is still on. In the Pros' it,s within a few strokes, and the Ams' is another matter. The quote " I,m Rod Cooley " is standing out now for sure. Some players in the Pros' are talking about stepping down to challenge him! It seemed like this was the night for OB. I heard from many how hungry the road was. All the salina courses' have their own vibe, and I,ve always enjoyed the atmosphere on this little puppy. Nice to see Robert, and Cody out again, and newby Heather to give sara a challenge. Salina club has been trimming and cleaning the course for the up-coming Thomas tourneys, and it looks great. We have a most challenging course here and it,s only getting better. I hope we get a good draw for Thomas, and would be nice to see some from out of state sign up . If you wish to test your game, come here.

I played well enough to be @ -5 through hole 15 and was thinking hmmm hole 16 is a birdie hole,and all I got to do is get my 2 and get through 17 and walk away with the record. Wrong again R/B! The sweltering heat of July cant keep a player from playn. Racers are jockying for position with 4 singles left in the points race. We are on our final lap with turn one coming up next week. Looks to be a two horse race in the Pros',and the Ams' has RC lapping his rivals. Robert clearly stepping up his game is a true contender in the Ams', too bad he got in the race late.
