06 Art Work

Post by smitty »

Well it is that time of the year again.

We are needing some KDGA artwork. Maybe we have someone with a creative bone in their body this year.

Let Mace or myself know if you have and idea or design.

I am zero for two on the Norton HS kids, so I am not even going to bother them this year. There is a KDGA member that is GOOD!!!!!! He will read this, and he will draw some artwork for us.

I'll try to throw some things together. Anything or any ideas anyone would like to see in the picture.

Should we ask Jeremy? I heard he did some artwork for you mace but it was more evil than evil.

See what he has to say. He's going to make some changes for me then it should be all good.

Jason Lewis has started a design. He would like to hear what you think, and is open to ideas.

1) I like the way this seal looks better.
2) Look how the words spread all the way around the top. Maybe if it said "Kansas Disc Golf Association Oz Tour" over the top. Then on the bottom it simply said 2006-2007.
3) Something in the Ad Astra Per Aspera???
4) Maybe just add a few black or silver hoops. That don't stand out as much. Put them in different spots, so it maybe looks like a course in the background.

My seal may be to busy also. It may not look worth a crap on a shirt.

I think it is a great idea, and a good start.

Whatever image you decide to use you will probably want to make sure it is vectorized that way it can be stretched shrunk and enlarged without losing its quality or being overly distorted.

what about a map of the state with dots for all the courses in Kansas?

would be simple, and a good thing to have on a road trip...

I have something in mind using that idea. It is a rather large adventure. If it would ever happen, it would make a great full color disc.
