Here's a possible option for some quality disc golf at the monster Blue Valley course from the KCFDC board for those that make their way to KC for the Kan-U-WyCo on Sunday and don't get in
Campbell wrote: OKAY - another change of plans -

I just found out that the Kan-U-Wyco is filled to capacity, and that I missed out. I'm on the waiting list, however, I doubt that I'll make it in the tournament.

In any case, I will be at the Wyco event waiting to see if I get in. If I do not, I would gladly go ahead and run the BVD league on Sunday the 11th, at noon. If there are any players at the Wyco event who do not get to play, they can come out and join me at BV as well. If we do play, I don't expect a large turn-out because of the tournament and the fact that these dates keep changing. We might just play a singles event if there are not enough people available for a doubles match.

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME

Post by Nivek9 »

Don't forget to set you clocks ahead one hour before you crash Saturday night.
I would hate for anyone to be late for a tourney or anything else because they weren't well enough informed.

It is three weeks earlier this year.

With the time change going into effect I'll be getting up around 3:40 for the tournament. Looking forward to it! Can't really seem to convince my wife why I do it though. :)

I don't think wyco is probably the best tournament to start her out on. Her arm would probably fall off after the first rd. :)

Anyone coming from west of Manhattan that would want to carpool with me from I-70 or wherever? I've got room in my SUV and don't really want to wake up with a hang over and drive by myself. Let me know if so.

Scores are posted.

http://www.pdga.com/schedule/event.php?TournID=6599

Much better weather than last year although we did get sprinkled on a little bit late in the second round.

Thanks to everyone for making the trip to Bonner Springs for the tourney. I hope you had a fun and challenging day!

Add $44 to the rolling ace fund. Still no formal ace at WyCo.... ever. The league ace fund starts out this coming Friday at $1066. Hit an ace during league and take home half. If you are in the area, we tee off at 5:30 for the first few weeks then 6:00 until September when it goes back to 5:30. This is a KCFDC league played mini tourney style. $5 or $6 for non-members.

Great tournament! Thanks for putting it on. The course has obviously had a lot of tlc since last year's tournament. I'm already looking forward to playing it again next year.
