I just wanted to thank everyone again for making the tournament a success. A thanks to Ron for putting the word out in Emporia and Hays the past few weeks, to Bob Decker for putting the word out to the Wichita league and to Smitty for all of the TD advice.
Thanks to all that donated discs; Smitty, Dennis, Ron, Eric.
Thanks to Kenan, Brad, and Cooper who all pitched in Saturday to help build the trail from 3 to 4 and also the alt placement for 3 back in the sticks. Two busted chainsaws and two broken weed-eaters later , but it looked great! A big thanks to Kenan, Brad and Joe for sacrificing their lunch break to get all the baskets set up for the 2nd round.
And to everyone that showed up, thanks for coming down. I'm working on a raised basket signature hole 18, as well as a few other modifications, so it should be even better next year, and probably less wind?!
If there are any artists out there, or if anyone has ideas for hot stamp art now that you've been on the course, PM me your ideas.
Finally, it was good to see old friends. If anyone is making a trip down over a weekend to play a round, let me know, and I'll join you! Take care.

Great course. I would love to get some people together and make a run down there again some weekend. Would love to play against the course and not against the wind. I dont think the scores from sunday reflect what the course really has to offer. I felt as if i wasnt competeing against the course or the other players but competeing against mother nature and all her hot air. Had a fun time though . Donated one disc to the gods of anthony lake.
I do wish more AM Masters would have shown up from wichita. even though i won the division it would have been cool to have more compitition in the division. great job smitty, scooba, tom, ring, and all the others that placed well .
james did great for putting on his first turney. look for this one to get bigger and bigger.

I went swimming Sunday night and only found 5 discs; 3 Z Flicks and a purple Hays tourny '06 disc belonging to Randy Mattingly and 1 Beast of Miranda's.
What I'm trying to say is that someone apparantly had pretty good luck fishing out wet discs before I could get to them. Is it common courtesy to give back discs when found? I know alot of discs went in Sunday and not returned.
What's the call on this one?

If they have thier name or pdga# on the disk yes it is nice to return them. alot of people will even pay you for getting a good disc back. If there is no name or number but you know whos it is sure return it also. Un known discs though i would say its fair to say congrads on finding your self some discs .
Its totally up to the person finding them though.
I know the kids out there were looking for discs and fishing out what they could. lol . some day they will learn what its like to lose one and how cool it is to have one returned to them. I know when i get a favorite driver back that was lost i am so happy i have paid full price for them several times. lol
