FLX Avengers
Dx Destroyers
Z Trackers
...are all here.
It looks like weather might be wet in the afternoon. (We have some Birdie Bags!)
We'll have a canopy & tarped area set up by the playground.
Also note: signup will be between hole 17's basket and 18's tee pad. It's a bit more protected there than up on the hill by hole 1.

Pratt Icebowl 2008 Results
Pratt 2008 Ice Bowl Results
Cort H & Jason A ...... 40 + 49 = 89
Leo D & Bud M ......... 44 + 47 = 91
Bode & Corbin ......... 46 + 45 = 91
Ryan B & Asher R ..... 47 + 48 = 95
Ron R & Darren B ..... 47 + 49 = 96
Pat H & Josh L .......... 50 + 46 = 96
Devin & Chris V ......... 51+ 60 = 111
14 Players total. We played short pins. All players had the maximum allowed mullies (4 per player for the day - liberal mulligans).
$28 KDGA + $20 donations collected = $48 to Pratt Food Bank
We collected at least 56 cans of food for the Pratt Food Bank.
Cort hit an ace on #15 and collected the $50 paid in for the tourney. I was standing next to #13's basket when it crashed hard about 30 ft from me. I believe that makes 3 tournament aces for hole #15.
Special thanks to Beanz Coffee Shop & Mark Newland for the free chili lunch!
Temperature was in the mid-30s. Wind was only a slight breeze. We had light sprinkles for the better part of the day with brief periods of relief and at times some heavier rain. Several umbrellas were put to use.
We had 2 players from Nebraska, one from KC MO, one from Lyons, KS and a couple of players from Wichita. Thanks to everyone who played and helped with the tourney! I had a blast as usual!
Hope to see you all @ some tourneys this year.

He needs to sign-up for the KDGA. That would be atleast 2 Ice Bowls and 20 points. He may have played Wichita also?beisner wrote:Yep.smitty wrote: Is that Leo Deprato from Topeka? If so, what the helk is that dude doing in Pratt?

The ice bowls were made KDGA events not to raise funds for KDGA (they were donated back to the respective charities), but to help the ice bowl cause and also to raise memberships. If you want the points, you have to sign up.
For the regular season, we'll give people their past points. We used to cut off giving previous points at Discs Unlimited. Now that we are getting more members, this date is before many people sign up. Last year we didn't have any cut off date. This probably helped with getting a few memberships late in the year, but re-figuring the points up was a lot of work. Maybe we'll do a cut off this year around Beloit.
