KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
Re: KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
As the administrator of the KDSSF, I know I speak for the entire Board when I say Thank You to each and every one of you that donated your money. Half of your donation funds the next years scholarship and the other half put in principal for the interest to fund future scholarships. While the interest is only a small portion of what we are giving away this year; someday, the interest alone will fund a years tuition and all of you were a part of that growth. Be proud that you are an intregal part of that history. This does not happen without YOU.
Re: KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
I am making numerous posts rather than just one real long one so bare with me. The Rockin JP Tick Ranch lived up to its name, not only were the trophies decorated with "drawn on" tick skins, but many people reported finding one on their body. I did. I didn't shoot a great second round (-5) but I was real pleased that I went bogey free. So I looked to see if anyone else could claim that distinction and only one other person accomplished this feat: Bo Carrasco. But! He not only did it the second round but went bogey free the first round as well. Are you kidding me? Nope, Bo got a 3 on hole 7 from the top of the hill on that monster hole. Nice shooting Bo.

Re: KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
One last post. Did you happen to catch who won the Advanced division. That is correct; Twitch won. If you don't know Twitch, get to know him as he could very well be a future world champion. And the dude is just now in the eighth grade. He would have cashed in the Open field. Nice shootin. Smitty has schooled this boy well.
Re: KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
This is Branden "Rush" Rusk and I shot a 1 up and a 7 down. That puts me at 126 not a 146 not sure how i got those extra 20 strokes.
Re: KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
I would love to churn out some K-Ratings for this event. Any chance of getting the scores broken down into 1st and 2nd rounds? You could even snail mail me the scorecards.

Fluty, 63,61
Re: KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
I sent Bill an email to see if he still had the cards.
Re: KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
Sorry about the mistake on Brandon addition. The scores above have been edited with each round score included. Been missing in action with other things going on so until I got a couple of emails, wasn't aware that the scores were needed. Anything else needed? Shan Mann with an ace and two CTPs. The other CTP was won by Robert Culey. With all the donations etc: $806.50 was raised for the fund beating last years total due to two very generous donations. This year we have two applicants and should make a determination by May 1st.

Re: KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
Did anything change other than Branden Rusk's score? If so, I will need to redo the tour points.
Re: KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
I don't think so but could have made another mistake somewhere.

Re: KDSSF Scholarship Tourney @ Tick Ranch
Did Luinstra shoot a 147 or a 127?

The scores show that he shot a 73 and a 74 so I would guess 147 is correct.
