![]() CHAMPIONSHIPS Saturday/Sunday, October 11-12 Free for club members, and you must be a club member to play in the event. If you need to pay your club dues, you may do so at Disc Golf World, any league night, or at the Club Championships. Registration/Check-In will be at Shawnee Mission Park from 8:15AM-9:30AM, on Sat. Oct. 11, with the first round starting around 10:00AM. Shawnee Mission Park is located at 7900 Renner Rd. in Shawnee, KS. The link to the course map is below (click on it!): SHAWNEE MISSION PARK COURSE MAP Schedule: Saturday 8:15AM-9:30AM Registration/Check In - Shawnee Mission Park ~10:00AM Round 1 Shawnee Mission Park **2:00PM Round 2 Wyandotte County Park After Round 2, players will be flighted into groups (flights) of similar score. The idea will be that anyone in the flight could potentially win their flight. Championship Flight is the top flight, followed by A Flight, B Flight, etc.... Anyone can still win the entire Club Championship, even if you're coming from B Flight (although it will be much more difficult, of course) Sunday 10:00AM Round 3 Cliff Drive **2:00PM Round 4 Water Works ** Rounds 2 and 4 will begin about 90 minutes after Rounds 1 and 3 are finished respectively, to give travel time and time for lunch. Rounds 2 and 4 will not start before 2PM, but they may start later than that, depending on the lengths of Rounds 1 and 3. If you can't make it for both days, then please come out either day you can make it (either Saturday or Sunday) and we'll pair you up with a group. There will be some refreshments (beverages) provided. Any questions? Give me a call or email. I hope to see y'all there. Fred Smith is the defending club champion, having only led the tournament for one hole, which was the most important one...the last one! He's says he taking it down again, let's see if anyone can prove him wrong (or right)! Last year's winners: Championship Flight: Fred Smith (CLUB CHAMPION) A Flight: Bryan Guthrie B Flight: Dick Parker C Flight: Eric Garberg D Flight: Tim Duffy E Flight: Mio Sillings F Flight: Chris Haynes John Chapman Email John 816-471-3472 work 816-547-6148 cell Tuesday, August 26, 2008 September Events -
