PDGA Stats

2007 KDGA top finishes:

Career Favorite Finish:
-tie for 10th at 06 AM Nationals
-tie for 30th at 06 Am Worlds
-2nd at Oklahoma Open 06, advanced
-1st at Dynamic Discs open 06, advanced

Memorable Disc Golf Moment:
-My first win at any level was 05 at Lincoln, NE. Came from behind early in the last round, then duked it out with T-Rude and Hammer through the final 10 or so holes. Tracy and I tied and I was fortunate enough to beat a great golfer in the playoff! that competition and excitement gave me the confidence to compete at a higher level against golfers that I felt previously were hands down better than me.

In the Bag

The bag:
Revolution

Drivers:
Predators (3-4) my favorite driver. one is very beat in, a great flier. the others are newer and more stable.
ESP Surges (2) my distance driver.
ESP Pulses (1-2) a slightly more overstable driver than the surge.
Z Flash- that I try to roll occasionally!
Z Flick- for forehands mainly.

Midrange:
Buzzz (3) Love this midrange! one slightly overstable(ESP), one dead straight(1st run), and one understable(X).
ESP Wasp- very overstable for headwinds.
Drone- When that KS wind is really blowing.

Putt and Approach:
D Challenger- a beat one for turnovers and tight, touchy straight shots.
DD Supercolor Challenger- very over stable and I use it on most approaches under 250.

Money Putter:
D challenger- solid ones that feel grippy

Favorite Courses

Favorite Kansas courses:
1. Jones East, Emporia - Very solid course. Several holes with a par 4 feel that require you to make good approaches, not just bomb drives. Very scenic with all the water shots and tall grass OB.
2. Woods Park, Wellington - Tourney set up. this was the only time I played this course, so I dont know how much changes but the TL was both fun and challenging. The wind and water made it even more so! The peninsula shot is great!
3. The Rock, Salina - I know it is a temp course, but there are very few opportunities in KS to throw off a cliff! Get that sucker in the ground permanently!

Other favorite courses:
1. The Toboggan- Milford, MI. This course is a temp that is set up on sled runs. One of the most challenging courses I have played. Tests every shot in the bag. Not overly friendly to righty or lefty.  Massive elevation changes. Several control tunnel fairways. If I could make a course of my 18 favorite holes, probably 7 or 8 would come off this course.
2. Pickard Park- Indianola, IA. Another super challenging course. Quite long, adjusted par is 61 or 62. Has 2 legitimate par 5's and several holes where you have to throw a great drive to a small target area to be able to have a shot to get to the basket for a 3. Even the short par 3's here will test your nerves with a huge dropoff behind a basket and a very narrow tunnel through forest.
3. Graceland University- Lamoni, IA.  This is another long and challenging course with many holes requiring a good drive and good approach to get a 3.
4. Waterworks Park- North KC, MO. (had to add a 4th!) This course is very fun because of the elevation changes. Not a long course, but it is well designed, very challenging, and will wear you out!
