Kansas Disc Golf Association

Was there an Octoberfriz in 2015? If so, I missed it. Looks like a lot less traffic on the boards. I'm looking to get back into some disc golf and was wondering what is going on in the area in league play.

Today was my first time on the forum in quite some time. I was surprised at the almost complete lack of posts for WDGA. The last post about Octoberfriz was in 2014. Is the association still active locally? I was hoping to get back into playing some. Would appreciate any information you might have to...

I am in the Winfield area. I had not been on the forum for some time and was in looking around. I was surprised to see that there have been virtually no posts in the recent past in WDGA. Nothing about Octoberfriz since 2014. Has the local association ceased to function?

Is the Mulvane course you are talking about the one at English Park?

Thanks Doug. We managed to get there about 4:20 this afternoon. We were still able to get through 11 holes before we ran out of light. As for hole 9, there was another guy who started about the time we did and he told/warned us about the 9th hole. Seems like a pretty nice course with plenty of natur...

Must get kinda dark this time of year. When you say random doubles, does that mean you draw to see who gets paired up? Also, where will you be playing this coming Wednesday?

Another question from a fair weather disc chucker. I see mention of a number of locations that are being played. I am only aware of Cherry Street, and the grove. Don't even really know how the course at the grove is supposed to be played. Have gone there and shot some holes, but no idea how it's lai...

I think hole 7 would be a good choice for a new tree.

Was just curious. How much later in the year does the doubles league run? Is it something that you have to get into at the beginning or is it something that you can just jump into?

I'm hoping the weather tomorrow doesn't suck. I'm planning to try to get out to the grove to check out the handicap league. I see that Smitty wasn't planning on being there. Hopefully there will be a good turnout.
