Here is a video clip from the news.

Tom does an excellent job of defending disc golfers. He must have been practicing his game also, because he makes 1 helk of a shot.

Well when we get done destroying all our courses in Wichita maybe Tom will defend us.
When you have to choose between your woman and discgolf, don`t be stupid-choose the discgolf.

The Air Capital Disc Golf Club will donate $50 and I will donate $25 to bring the total to $225.

We all need to be aware that even the suspicion that this was done by disc golfers reflects poorly on all of us and makes it harder to keep and improve the courses that we currently have, let alone build new ones. With the damage to the other park facilities, it was probably not disc golfers but we all need to keep our eyes and ears open to hopefully assist in the capture and punishment of those involved. Each and everyone of us needs to continue to show respect to the foliage and park facilities in every park.

Str8 - you might want to send that news release to KAKE News in Wichita since they were the ones that put the story out. If necessary, put me down as the local contact since I can officially represent the ACDGC and the PDGA.

I would be glad to take the post to our local paper. Smitty - if you could e-mail me the post that the association would like posted - I will take care of that tonight so it will come out in this weeks paper. Thanks for all of the concern - It truely shows - Disc Golfers not only have skill - they have class as well.

Did I say vandalism sucked? After fixing my back window ($250 later), from the previous Friday night, the vandal struck again this last Friday and broke out the windshield of my wife's car parked right next to our house. Only car on our quiet dead end block to get hit... twice!

It's just the who we are, we're like family and we help each other out. Let us know if there is any more help we can give to the community or to the parks dept. I'm sure we could get a crew together to help clean up and help re-plant trees.

I'm sure I speak for most DG'Rs

Good news everyone - Potsy has informed me that he has caught the vandals. He can not give me any details - but he has confessions. Also, I took the positive press release to our local paper - it should come out in this Thursdays Mulvane News. The paper was typing up an article already about some disc golfers that came down from Wichita and wanted to help. I do not want to let the details out on that article - VERY COOL you three.
Thanks to all.

That is awesome!! Kinda like the story at Peter Pan when 4 High School kids busted all the locks and threw 17 of the 18 baskets in dumpster, river, pond, off bridges...etc....

Very happy they know who did it!
