I guess I'll post here seeing how the Tournament Info got Hacked..

I want to thank everyone who came out to play this year!

I also want to give a HUGE thanks to Mace Man, and LD for ALL their help, Not playing and helping run this event was very much appreciated!
Also thanks to everyone who helped with anything to get this tournament a success!
I'd say the first A tier went very well,.....and the rest are just going to get better!!!!

PS Thanks for the Laughs at Applebees STR8! Your the man! :D

To all that made this happen, Scooba Steve gives a big Thanks, Emporia has got two of the most awesome courses in Ks., and had one Bad ass tournament, I was grateful to be there.

Had a GREAT time in Emporia...played like crap again, but that didn't matter. Put a lot of faces to names and enjoyed the festivities at the Travelodge and Bruff's!!

Tourney - $60

Gas/food/lodging - $160

Watching Friz Rocker running around in the recreation area while holding a full sized basket and being pelted with putters even while going up and down the stairs - PRICELESS and Classic!

Congrads to all the winners and losers cuz we all had FUN!

Eric/Mace/LD/staff - y'all did another fantastic job of making things go smoothly. I really dug the Final 9 Mixed Dubs format...I hope things like this get featured at other tournaments. BRAVO! 8)

It was a great tourney and I am sure it will grow and grow! Thanks Eric and COMPANY! I am really sorry I missed Friz running around with that basket! I can't believe none of us woke up. There must have been yelling plus all the stomping around and chain noise! How can three kids, and two adults sleep through that? I knew I had to get lots of sleep because that 5 hour drive was tough! Got back after 2am! Had to stop several times for the little ones! Long night!

Good seeing you all!

I'm damn glad to meet you..

Great tournament guys. I didn't fare so well either, but I still had a great time. I've got a couple pics I need to get up...those damn evergreens did more than catch my discs..

Had 4 of the worst rounds I have ever played and at the same time I had more fun then I ever have at a tournament. Thanks E-Town for a great tournament!

Did anyone end up with a Black Huk Lab chair after the tourney?

It has all the normal stickers on it. Plus a couple of Discraft stickers, and a Mace Man sticker or 2.

Sounds like someone did! Happened to me in Ransom one year, but the person left their old cruddy one for me. That thing ripped about the fifth tourney after that. My new one is great though!

Speaking of chairs, Doc has the "Lazy Boy" of disc golf chairs! Wow! Wish I had the money for that!

Hey Doc, did you say you got that from Mace?

Yup, from Mace, in September '03...likely in the $40 range, now. 4 legger with a fold/up/down back support which leaves the option of using it as a small stool/table to support you or your DG bag...or with the back up you get your lazy-boy option. Damn light, too! I took it to Wakarusa for extended lounging time...quite comfortable! Totally worth the investment!! 8)

I bet it was an Innova player - Sounds like a conspiracy.
