I'd think the same people who came to Capital City Classic would show up for this.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Well, we can only hope so. Just wanted to remind everyone that we will be giving away two baskets. One for $1 CTP and another for the putting competition. CTP basket is a Chainstar and the putting is a DISCatcher Sport.

Quick question about the DDO and how the year end KDGA works.

Last year was the first time I made the year end thing and we all just got extra bucks... I understand that there is going to be an invitation event Sunday for the top 1/3 in each division and the #1 pro and am in each region, and the top non qualified finisher from Saturday.

So the question is this if I come and play and if I qualify for the game Sunday, What is going on on Sunday?

And I am sure this has been gone over but I am to LAZE to dig through the multiple threads it could be in.

Rusco wrote:OK, here's the scoop. I got the best rates by far (that I found) are at the Rodeway Inn & Suites.

$45 for a single, $55 for double
Most rooms have fridge and microwave.
Continental Breakfast from 6-9/10

Contact them at 620-342-7820 (Stacia)---"Stay-Cha"

I think those are pretty reasonable rates.
Just say that you got that rate for the tourney and they will give it to you.
Here it is again for those who missed it the first time.

I checked a room at the Rodeway Inn today. It seemed like it was a pretty reasonable place for the price.

When I made my reservation the woman told me that they have an indoor pool and hot tub. Always an added bonus. :)

Man, I wish the tourney was today. Beautiful here in Salina already and it's not even 9:00 yet.

Was it ever decided if there will be anything for the non kdga people to do on Sunday?

Right now it is looking like we are just going to do our distance competition, putting competition, and $1 CTP for the Chainstar. I might post more details on here shortly but will probably just post everything at the course. Looks like we are going to have different divisons for the driving and putting.

Putting competition: One open division for the DISCatcher Sport and another division for plastic/merchandise (no pro's or Advanced men). I think it's a great way to let everyone included.

The $1 CTP will be held both days with the final on Sunday. For those who are not going to be here on Sunday we will hold their finals Saturday and measure it off. This final is only open to those who will not be attending Sunday.

Driving competition could have two divisions as well.

If anyone has any suggestions let me know. There will probably be more decisions made tomorrow and Saturday. If I don't qualify for the Sunday event and people want to a one round event we can do something like that in the morning at 9 a.m. but only if a lot of people are interested. This could be random draw doubles as well. Any suggestions would be great!

Can't wait to see everyone. The weather is going to be great for the middle of November.
