Sunday Finals
It has always been my philosophy that feedback should not only be be condoned, but encouraged in the KDGA. Everyone was welcome to attend the end of the year meeting and voice their opinion/critique on the 2006 tour. Was it a perfect tour? No. Was it better than the previous year? Yes. We are an organization that represents disc golfers in our state and each year that I have been involved with the KDGA we've taken ideas/suggestions and implemented them the following year. Will we ever make everyone happy? Probably not, but I'll be damned if we don't try.
Here are a few things I really like aobut the KDGA:
1. The KDGA pays all the sanctioning fees for Clubs or TD's who host a PDGA event in the state of Kansas.
2. The KDGA has a course improvement fund available to clubs and parks departments who can match funds aka 50/50($500 max).
3. The traveling ace fund can pay for a full season of disc golf expenses.
4. The people.
I also recall many KDGA members and affiliated clubs donating $ to the Mulvane course.
Just food for thought.

Well that does it then, next year we`re off to the strip club.I hear there`s one in strong city west of emporia called,"The Pink Panty"?
When you have to choose between your woman and discgolf, don`t be stupid-choose the discgolf.
The Chuck Wagon closed down in Hays. Some groom woke up with a swollen eye the day of his wedding. He went to the ER and they pulled a crab out of his eye. How about Rock Island?Friz-Rocker wrote:smitty wrote:I just asked wife. Or......write a letter to the pdga whining about how you want your am status back.Master Dyck wrote: No matter what you do, there will be those on top of the division and those on the bottom of the division. Unfortunately, there will never be a way to change that. You either have to pick a division and accept being there, win or lose, or you need to get out of the sport all together.
Who cares if someone gets their "Am" status back after deciding "Open" was not where they belong at the time. Just because you sign up as open doesn't mean you are a pro! I think that the top pro golfers in Kansas should and would be "frustrated" to get beat by any other kansas "open" players, (it's the law of basic competition - If you are better than everyone else...don't lose to them). And furthermore, because you didn't or can't beat them doesn't give you a right to complain about how the KDGA was set up this year. I didn't get to finish collecting points because of scheduling and life, but I wasn't mad at the KDGA format when I couldn't beat Nate to advance to the championship title bout with STR8. The format was cool and the ideas for next year will only make the KDGA better. Think positive!
PS. Suggesting that someone is gay by linking a picture of Richard Simmons, in-fact; implies you yourself to be gay....MAN LAW!

I agree. Lost in all of this is the fact that some people really busted their @sses this year to try and make the KDGA better. And they did a good job, from what I hear.
P.S. I'm not sure about the Man Law, but if you think that posting a picture of Richard Simmons is gay then....

.....and that's coming from a guy w/ the name poopshoot, or poopchute, or whatever the hell my name is.

Good one..... how original. You would fit right in with these guys.Hammer wrote: PS. Suggesting that someone is gay by linking a picture of Richard Simmons, in-fact; implies you yourself to be gay....MAN LAW!

WTF is man law btw? Sounds like unwritten guy code that dumbasses follow so they can prevent themselves not to fall into the "gay" category. You better take some notes.........
