Atchison Jackson Park

Post by smitty »

Sprout and I rolled to Atchison yesterday to help them with a new course in Jackson park.

Here is the scoop. They have 9 Mach 5's now, and are going to order 9 more shortly.

The park is pretty sick. It has a kind of Water Works feel to it. Big hills and lots of trees.

The layout is pretty killer. I wish that it was a touch bigger. Most of the holes will be a good drive and a putt. I wish we could of made more two shot holes.

We really used every inch of park. It has some room for growth in the future. It would involve lots of cutting and pulling trees out. A job much bigger then needs to be tackled at this point in time.

As soon as Erik at the YMCA lets me know it is in, I will relay the word to you all.

This place will instantly go to the top of your must play list.

Thanks for designing the course. I'm looking forward to the next time I visit my nephews. They only live 20 minutes away from it!

Really short, but still hard to navigate the course. There are some nice elevation changes though.

My dad drove through the park yesterday and said he didn't see any baskets.
