Thanks to everyone for making this a fun event. It was a lot of work setting all the OB up, hauling water out to the course, providing scores, ordering discs, getting sponsorship, and everything else that went into making this tournament great.

I think the courses are outstanding. Those signs are fanstastic! I especially liked the east course. There are many holes that require a controlled drive, followed by an accurate second shot. That is what golf holes should be like. My favorite holes were 2, 3 short, 4 long, 6 (this hole is killer), 8 long, 9 long, 12, 14, 17 & 18 (these holes are really puzzling).

The final 9 did turn out to be fun. Robin was the only amateur player in the finals, but she played like a champ! I think we all feel proud for her.

I also got to hand it to Smitty. After day 1, he was many strokes down to a very tough field of players. Smitty found an answer Sunday though, shooting the lowest score for the day. Maybe 9 more holes would have been enough to complete the comeback? Got to give McCoy credit though for some amazing rounds of golf.

Pat Blazek also won it wire-to-wire. That isn't easy to do in a field that his rating was only average in (I'm sure it will be going up). Scooba played great. His rating will be 991 if he doesn't play any more PDGA before the next update. He could take over as the world's biggest sand-bagger. :P All things considered though, he wouldn't have even come close to cashing at this event in Open. The PDGA tier and thus quality of the participants does make a big difference.

Very awesome and impressive.

His rating is going to make leaps in the next few updates. He has such a quality all around game - Look for some impressive finishes to be coming up for him in Colorado.

Note - this is the second tournament he's traveled with me that he won so much crap I wondered how we'd fit it in my car.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

I enjoyed meeting and playing with Pat Blazek. The only Advice I would give him is to never let Anger overcome your game, I seen this starting to happen and that is when I backed off and let the strokes work my way.
If I'd just been a little more aggressive at that time.

Look forward to playing Blazek again.

Thanks for the great tourny guys. Those are two amazing and fun courses. Also thanks for the compliments to. Yes, i know i need to not get frustrated cuz that's when my game just starts going downhill. Once I work on that and my putting a lil more, I think i'll be a lot more consistant. Anyways I had a blast at this tournament and had a great time meetin and playin my last three rounds with scooba. You're one crazy guy. Also want to say thanks to all the emporia guys too, you guys did a great job running this thing while also playing in it too. Hope to see you guys around soon. Later
