Feb 12 - Hays (Doubles when I have played it)

Feb 13 - Ellis (Singles the time I played it)

Feb 20 - Salina (Singles in the past)

These are the only Ice Bowls left, right? I hate having to check back, so I thought I would re-post them. I actually get to go to Hays on the 12. Who else is gonna be there?

Hey Bob. I was just wondering how much of the Open mens entry fee you took out for the food bank?

Wichita Ice Bowl Results

Post by Eaglehigh99 »

We had 18 Pros and 28 Ams for a total of 46 participants.

Generally, it was a great winter day for disc golf. We started the first round at 30 degrees and ended the last round at 34 degrees. The day was generally overcast with a light wind and we played in about half an inch of melting snow. When the last of us left Park Villa Sunday evening, it was again starting to snow hard. 8)

I hope everybody got enough chili to eat at lunch. When had only planned for about 35 participants so I know we were running a little tight on feeding everybody.

We collected 15# of food and raised $950 for the Kansas FoodBank Warehouse. Following is a breakdown of the cash:
$5 from each participant fee $ 230
1st round mulligans $ 396
2nd round mulligans $ 169
Air Cap Disc Golf Club $ 155

Thanks to everyone that helped out and/or showed up. We all did a good job for a great charity and had a good time doing it. :D

Let's try to make the 2006 Wichita Ice Bowl even larger. 8)

Again, congratulations on a job well done. :D

Bob and all those who helped with the Wichita Ice Bowl,

Great job! I wish I could have come to the event. Sounds like you had some fun. I wanted to coment on the amount of money you raised at just this one event. That is amazing! Plus all the food! Great job! Way to go!

No. 8 per team. But one person can use 3 the other could use 5 or vice versa or it could be 1 person using 1 the other using the rest ya get it? So if your puttin is hot you might get to use a bunch a mullys that day.

Alright, I'm takin off for the Hays Ice Bowl tonight. We'll see how that goes, if I don't get it I guess I'll just call in sick.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.
