That woman is killing me Chris! What is the context? Is it a salute to an "E" rated performance (effort)?

Latest on KC Wide Open Pros... they are currently waiting on the rain to stop to finish their last couple of holes. Expect play to resume at 4am with the final 9 to follow.

I can imagine trying to compete in this crud. Trying to throw uphill into the wind and rain at water works... Some players will certainly have experience on their side here. Considering the conditions, the scores for this tourney have been good.

Well they were 2 holes from finishing, and they called a delay after a lightning flashed, so they were going to wait another hour and then cancel the final 9. So I was pretty dissapointed and left. My guess is they waiten an hour, right in time for the monsoon to land on them, because about 20 minutes down the rode the rain hit hard.

Heres the Scores

2nd in Int... Blew my lead on the last round, wasnt pretty, but held on long enough to take 2nd. It was a good time, met some pretty cool people, and some I wouldnt mind ever seeing again.

Yeah, Babbit shows some serious resolve to improve every round! Nice paydal for Kevin. Tough luck for Smitty. I know how that is at WW. Lots of birdie opportunities, but for some reason, I always shoot really close to par there.

Is Will fairly new to tournament play? He woulda taken 2nd in advanced! That's awesome.

Way to hang in there Don. I hope you and Tracy made it into the payout and that it wasn't weak!

Dennis was relentless. Bob Decker let him win though. :)

How about Juliana kicking the crap out of so many professional men? She has only taken 2nd once this year and played a good number of tourneys.

I've played a World Biggest in Winfield, the Doo Dah, & the KCWO... and you were sorda right about about woulda placed 2nd in Advanced, unfortunatly that would be Advance Masters. I'll probally work on my game, and test out Advanced in Emporia, see how it turns out.

Ah, your right. I see that their was a bit of seperation between the fields. You gotta see that some of the advanced players have 940+ ratings. We call them sandbagging pros. You can't bag the intermediate division if you've got a 915+ rating. I'd play a few tournaments and see where your rating stands before jumping divisions. Since I've moved up, I would have won many more advanced tourneys than before I moved. Did I mention that I still don't cash? :)

Moving up to play with better players does improve your perception of the game, which should improve your shot selection and technique. You gotta allow yourself time for improvement though. Spending time practicing different shots is invaluable to your game.

Silly Babbit is the MAN, and by far the best person of all the Innova Pros I got to play with! What a bunch of cry babies!

I made a couple of bad shots each round, and paid for them. I also had a couple of Water Work rolls.

If you ever want to watch a person who conducts themself the appropriate way on the course, watch Timmy Gill.

...or George Smith. He got Water Worked on hole #13 and merely said, "Didn't I just walk up this hill?" That 5(?) cost him a few spots and a few hundred bucks... :(

He is the Shiznit, he has the most even level of emotion that you could ever see.

He made a 100 plus foot putt, and just walked up and got it out of the basket. No jumping or yelling or Hammock fist shaking.

He misses a 10 foot putt, and just picks up his mini and walks up and drops the putt in. No yelling, cussing, chain slapping. No Jenkins bag kickin!!!

He throws a drive that lands 2 inches OB and just walks of the pad. He is a true class act! Plus, he is sponsored by the best disc company on the planet!
