disclizard,

I know nothing is set in stone yet, but our parks department in Mulvane comes out and sprays for Poison Ivey like once a week. They use what they call a sterilizer; I guess it just kills everything. If the town is cool enough to put a course in I'm sure they would spray it for you also.

Not going to hold out any thing to help with funding for the baskets? not even 5-10 %.? See i thought the whole idea of having this mini tourny was to impress the park board? to show them we are also willing help buy takeing 1 or maybe 2 buck out of each entry fee and put it back into the park.? :?

As soon as you get some baskets in the ground, then you can start holding money out.

If you ask me, holding money out now, would be like having the cart infront of the horse.

This is starting to turn into a bigger pain in the A$$ then it is worth. All because you continue to Bitch about everything that is being done.

We have played several event in Mulvane, they have never asked us to take anything out for their "club". They were always just happy to have us in town.

Wichita keeps money out of each league to help with their established courses. We keep money out on Saturdays in Winfield, to help out with our established courses.

When you get "your" course up and running, you can do as you please.

The little bit of money that would be made by keeping out 5-10 percent, would not even be a drop in the hat to get you started. Lets reward some of these people that are spending gas money to come and play. Maybe if they win, they can go out to eat at McDonalds.

I know that is what Shan and I do. If one of us cashes, we always buy something to eat and drink before we drive home. So the 5-10% does stay in the town.

Well if we take 5% out of 10 entrys. We end up with less than 0.000769% of the total money for the baskets. So at that rate we could do 3099 more leagues and have it payed for. So im really doubting 5% is going to help much.

But either way I dont care.

Lizard,

You just need to keep an eye on the Wellington obituaries so you can hit up a rich widow to pay for everything. That's seems to be the best way to get a kick ass course in the ground in a hurry, just ask Smoothdraw or Fagan. :D

True that! Sometimes you don't even have to ask they just come to you. Like I said before if you build it they will come.

Lizard,

I just wanted to see how much rain you are getting today. I'm on the west side of Wichita and we are getting pounded.

It took me 30 minutes to read all this crap. You guys were typing to fast for me to keep up.
Anyway:Hope to see loads of people out tonight cuz we may not get to play there again for a while.
From what I here the parks department is very short of $$$ and are looking for matching funds so good luck LIZZARD..
