New KDGA Website is ready to go!

The new kansasdiscgolf.com website is ready to go and will most likely be up and running this Saturday 2-18-06. The new site has a totally different look and some new features that will hopefully allow for fresh, new content to be consistantly available.

One of the new features is a Kansas Course Directory which has a listing of Kansas disc golf courses with details. The directory is going to be a work in progress until we get all the course information updated. The additional enhancements that people are working on may be incorporated later as well. We need the players' help to get all the details updated.

There are also going to be some updates to the Forum. The Forum is there to discuss disc golf and KDGA related activities. Let's use it for it's intended purpose and not clutter it up with unrelated topics.

The Forum may be unavailable for awhile during this process.

Another new addition will be available that will hopefully alleviate some of the wayword topics and posting in the Forum. A Chat Room will be available for all currently registered Forum users! Anything goes in the chat (within reason!) so check it out and have some fun. A link to the chat will be at the top of the Forum page. Just logon using your Forum username and password.

If anybody has questions or reasonable suggestions let us know.

Great idea, not that it was getting bad here, but public perception is important if your trying to draw in more members (especially younger ones). I was drawn to this site primarily because of the tourney discussions and disc evals, the fight the moderator bits are tired and seem to be a waste of space. If people enjoy them that's cool though, because I can always skip it (maybe I'm part of the problem because I read em?). Either way, I'm glad KS has such an active site and it's a big part of why I signed up this year even though I live so far away. Keep up the good work!
