For $70 and $95 we could go ahead and sign everyone up for the PDGA also.

It can't be that expensive to do could it. I mean it would only be a benefit if you were a kdga member. On top of that a lot of kdga members are pdga members. And a less number that are kdga and not pdga play pdga.

TOUNGE TWISTER.

Here is the frontier. I don't even think I found 3 people that qualified.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

It sounds like we would be encouraging people not to join the PDGA. Why would we want to do that?

I agree Mike, kind of.

People who are serious, and care about player rating, points, playing A-tiers (even if Frizz did sneak in to on last year. Playing AM, after accepting over $100 at a PDGA sancitioned event), National Tour Events, AM Worlds, Pro Worlds. Will still sign-up for the PDGA like they should.

On the other hand, I can see the complaints from the people who are not as serious about the sport.

PDGA

Post by Notorious ROG »

I am all for PDGA events! No more walk in putts....
I support ACDGC, KGDA and PDGA it adds up to 1 night partying for and the wife! Small price to pay for all they do for this sport or past time or alternative life style called disc golf.

I think we shouls charge non KDGA members $2 for every event... err I mean provide $2 discounts for members.

Support your local, state and national clubs!

Sorry guys I know it`s stupid to try to think outside the box.
I`m sure that noone misses any events because of economics.

Belive it or not.

"We" do discuss everything that people bring up here.

So keep the positive ideas coming.

All right, here's an idea spooning off of Friz's suggestion. Let's set up some of the smaller non-super tour tournies to earn points, but also maybe bonus dollars. Those bonus dollars could be used at some tournies that are PDGA events. For example; you get one KDGA bonus dollar for every non-super tour event. Then you get a bonus dollar for every KDGA person you beat. So you beat three people at that tourney and now have four bonus dollars. The bonus dollars can only be used towards the $5 pdga fee. I realize that doesn't apply to both KDGA and PDGA members, but it's worht hashing it out.

No, I am pretty sure that I wanted to say we.

I have never made a KDGA change without talking with the following people. Mace, Kyle, Eric, DM4, Brett, and Shan.

I don't know why you have so much hate towards me and or the KDGA?

I think the guys are doing a good job, you can not please everyone all the time? I will make a suggestion, ok I will remind us of one TRude or Str8 brought up.

A Mission Statement

This will help to clarify what the club is truly about. I am a big supporter but we need a shared focus. What is the mission?
Is it fun?
Is it competition?
Is it to win plastic or money?
Is it the exspansion of the sport?
Is it to establish more courses and events?
Is it getting bombed and partying with your buds?
Is it to groom kids to become the 2025 PDGA World Champion?

Everyone on this forum as an opinion and we can't all be right or can we?
I digress......

Also no change has been made with out being discussed at an open meeting where the place and time has been publish and everyone encouraged to attend.

There is plenty of room in the KDGA for everyone, So far if a good idea has been brought up by anyone it has been talked about at meeting, if all you want to do is talk trash about it!!!!! Then become a leader in it and change it,,,, But I doubt if you could do any better job then who we have running it now!! So be one of us or get the hell out of our way because we are moving Kansas Disc Golf Forward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
